About this piece:

This piece is my homage to the Red Beans Parade, my favorite part of Mardi Gras, the parades for which were of course canceled this year. The day before Fat Tuesday in New Orleans, Lundi Gras, is known for the celebration of Red Beans and Rice, and the krewes that walk that day include the Krewe of Dead Beans (my favorite). People wear incredibly creative and punny costumes made of beans. Something I very much missed being a part of.
