The Seeks Comic Series

I'm very excited that the Seeks Comic Issue 1: Climate Disruption is going to print this week !

I have been in DC for the past 2 months working with the Friends Committee on National Legislation to create this comic book about lobbying for social justice. The first issue focuses on connecting climate change, public health, racial justice and what the average person can do to effect public policy.

The series is inspired by FCNL's mission-- faith through action towards the just, peaceful world we seek.

Stay tuned for how to get your copy, and meanwhile check it out online here, and be sure to tune in to my Artist Talk on June 1 (or if you're in DC, come to the reception!).

The comic is available for pre-order (with pre-order sale price !) that ships by June 1. However, if your Quaker Meeting is interested in getting comic books for your First Day class, please contact me and I'll put you in touch with FCNL directly.

I have learned a ton working on this project... it has been a blast but I'm also exhausted. It feels like the end of finals week! No time to stop though, as soon as I leave DC I'm heading up to Rochester, NY for an exciting residency with the Yards Collective. I'll also be working on the next issue of the series, which focuses on sentencing reform and mass incarceration.
