Constant Movement

Can't wait to paint a lot this summer

Can't wait to paint a lot this summer

You know how I am in constant movement?

It's hard to believe that my time as FCNL's Friend in Washington is wrapping up and 3 weeks from today I will be moving my art supplies and tiny plants into a studio at the Yards Collective in Rochester, NY where I will be part of a residency with 4 other artists.

Artist residencies take many forms... the ones I've done (and sometimes created for myself) have varied drastically. For example, I'm very grateful to FCNL for providing housing for my stay in DC the past 3 months, and as I get ready to head to Rochester I'm gathering funds to pay the $300 studio fee for my residency there this summer. I'm happy to support the Yards in this way, and am also looking to pad my pockets a bit this month as the car rental, rent and security for a new place, and other expense pile up for this exciting move.

..maybe you guessed it,

I'm having a sale ! This is a great time to snag a set of Weird Cards, a map creature print you have been thinking about, or my brand new comic book about climate action. Use the promo code GETIT at checkout to get 20% off your order. If you're not ready to decide, or want to delight a friend, the sale also applies to gift cards (!).

As always thank you so much for your support! You make it possible for me to do very dreamy things.

p.s. I'm still working on the second issue of the Seeks Series, which focuses on Mass Incarceration and Sentencing Reform-- it won't be printed by the time I leave DC but it is in the works !
